In 1990, I met my husband, who, at the time, was a real estate agent in Edmonton. Because of our extremely busy lifestyle, I decided to join his business as his assistant and immediately fell in love with the industry. I was his assistant until 2002, when I was offered the position of Office Administrator with a very busy RE/MAX office in Calgary. In 2013, I was awarded Administrator of the Year for RE/MAX Western Canada - a once in a lifetime accomplishment. When I retired shortly thereafter, I couldn’t imagine just sitting around, doing nothing, so I joined my daughter, Karen Hagglund, as a virtual assistant, and You Get Real was “born”.

I LOVE this industry, it is never boring and ever-changing. My focus is to help as many real estate agents reach their various goals, by getting them away from the never-ending paperwork and getting them in front of their clients and balancing their lives between business and family. In my life before real estate, I was a proof reader for a publishing house, so my attention to detail is immense. I take great pride in what we have accomplished with our company and with our team.
